Our meditation hall is truly exceptional, a heartfelt tribute to Swami Sundaranand Ji. Between 2004 and 2012, I had the privilege of visiting his place in Gangotri regularly. It was there that he initiated me into meditation, inviting me to sit and meditate in the innermost sanctum of his Kutir. Later, he shared that his guru, Swami Tapovanam Ji Maharaj, had also meditated in that very spot.

It took more than a decade to create a space worthy of honoring his memory. Swami Sundaranand Ji was a great sage, mountaineer, photographer, and a deeply pious soul.

The hall itself is constructed from local stones, with a wooden floor designed to enhance our connection with nature. A lotus pond graces the front of the hall, an auspicious symbol revered in ancient Hindu and Buddhist traditions. Inside, the walls are adorned with depictions of various divinities, including our principal goddess, Vanadevi. The paintings, created by Buddhist monks, embody a sense of purity and serenity that are essential for reaching a deep state of meditation.
